In December 2013, HBO wanted to generate buzz between Game of Thrones seasons three and four, and we had an audience ready to get medieval. 


At that time, Westeros' liege, King Joffrey, was the most hated character on the Internet, so we decided to serve him up on a silver platter by creating the first-ever social media roast aptly titled: #RoastJoffrey.
