Walked into a creative department that was underperforming on output and quality. Fixed both by implementing the right process and building a team of the caliber you'd find at award-winning ad agencies — well, that's who these people were and where they were from. The work reflected it.
 

Produced Toptal's first commercial spot — the company had never made anything beyond a case study video. It wasn't without its obstacles, and it wasn't the final vision, but it proved something important to the executive team: there was a bigger brand story to tell. First step taken.
 

Left the department in good hands — promoted a CD from within, who's still there, and the work has continued without missing a step.

Toptal flips the traditional hiring model — top companies compete for you, not the other way around. Bringing that to life in "The Interview" was a first for the company, and getting it made was half the battle. This was proof of what was possible.

Now that we had the right processes in place, we took the case studies from PDFs to video with high production value. We were producing one to two per quarter without breaking the bank.

Recently launched by the ECD I promoted and built on the foundation we established, this spot was developed to reposition Toptal against traditional consulting firms. It represents their first, and hopefully not last, brand campaign.
