In 2014, Subway was set to unveil its new food innovation (pizza) at SXSW. And SXSW is busting at the seams with companies trying to unveil new stuff. So we needed something different and breakthrough to get attention for something different and breakthrough (pizza).
Wearables were all the rage. Wearables it is. We hacked some exsisting tech, made something new and entertaining and put on a show. People at the event loved the Eatovations and Think Flatizza experience. The lines went on for days.
There was also some pizza there.
